"When Matilda was born, my life was filled with little moments that, although simple, had something magical about them. Routines that once seemed normal are now little rituals full of affection.
Inspired by that feeling, I wanted to create something special, something that could accompany other mothers and their babies in that unique and fleeting day-to-day life.

Thus was born Seven Days in the Farm, a collection that I designed together with my friend Natalia, founder of Minicoton. This capsule is designed to celebrate those first weeks full of first times, cuddles and adventures.
The idea came from something as everyday as the bodysuits and muslins that I used with Matilda every day. I wanted each piece to have a special detail, so we decided to embroider a different animal for each day of the week, from Monday to Sunday, to give a touch of tenderness to every moment. The onesies, muslins, bibs and bags are made with great care and with the quality that all mothers look for, but also with a detail that makes each day tell its own story. The countryside, animals, nature... All these elements remind me of my childhood and what I want to share with Matilda as she grows up. This collection is in part, a tribute to that connection with the simple, with the natural and with that time we spent together.

To make it even more special, I asked Meg Boscawen, the artist who painted Matilda's room, to do the illustration that appears on the boxes and bags in the collection. Her drawing reflects the warmth and charm I wanted to convey and ties everything together beautifully. I hope this capsule accompanies you in those first special days and that it is a reflection of the affection with which it has been created.
With much love,
Blanca"
